The “New Generation” program

 

Since 2011, Rossotrudnichestvo has been the state customer and coordinator of the short visits to the Russian Federation program for young representatives of foreign states policy, scientific and business circles (“New Generation”) on the basis of the Presidential Directive No. 1394, dated October 19, 2011.

Main goals of the Program:

- further development and enhancement of social, business and scientific ties between the Russian Federation and foreign countries;

- facilitation of the world’s objective perception of social and political, social and economical, scientific, educational and cultural changes, taking place in the Russian society;

- further growth of a number of young foreign states’ citizens, having constructive view towards Russia and attracting them to the empowerment of partnership between the Russian Federation and the countries they represent.

The Program’s main goal is the organization of the short visits to the Russian Federation of young representatives of foreign states policy, scientific and business circles, during which they can get acquainted with Russian social and political, social and economical, scientific, educational and cultural life and work out the ideas on development of partnership between the Russian Federation and the countries they represent.

 

The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Kuala Lumpur is working with Russian compatriots residing in Malaysia.

In our center we host exhibitions, conferences, forums, film festivals, concerts, other events timed to the significant dates of Russian history and events in modern Russia.

Rossotrudnichestvo implements the Program of Work with Compatriots Living Abroad in the field of supporting of compatriots’ public associations, addressing of cultural, linguistic and spiritual needs of Russian compatriots abroad, support of young people of Russian community. 

 

Association of Russian Compatriots in Malaysia

On the 15th of November 2014 at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture was announced about the establishment of the Russian compatriot’s association in Malaysia. Marina Kapitonova, professor at UiTM University  was elected as a President of the Association.

The main task of the Association is legal support of the Russian-speaking community in Malaysia, assistance in preserving close spiritual and cultural ties with the homeland in the Russian-speaking community, information support of Russian compatriots.
