Opening of the exhibition ‘Harmony of Russian ballet’’

On the 27th of June, Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Kuala Lumpur opened a painting exhibition dedicated to Russian ballet ‘The harmony of Russian ballet’. The exhibition included paintings by Russian artists from Petri Primi Academia Scientiarum et Atrium Ekaterina Gordeeva, Nadezhda Val, Evgeny Artemov, Andrey Yudin and a few talented children from Russian schools of painting. 
The exhibition was attended by representatives of foreign missions, Malaysian public figures and Russian compatriots living in Malaysia.  The Ambassador of Russia to Malaysia Valery N. Yermolov with his spouse have also visited the Center and became the honorable guests of the event. 
The program started with a short presentation, prepared by a curator of the exhibition Ludmila Gordeeva, who told the guests about the history of Russian ballet, the painters and the story of creation of every painting. Apart from ballet paintings there were a few nature and scenery paintings which looked unbelievably realistic. 
The program continued with lovely performance by young dancers of RCSC ballet studio under the guidance of Natalia Urazova. After amazing entree, Tatiana Gounar performed 3rd act from classical ballet ‘Le Corsaire’ by Adolf Adan. The audience enjoyed the performances and greeted the dancers with standing ovations.
The official part of the program continued with light refreshments and discussion session about Russian ballet and Russian art.
