On the 1st of October, children from ballet group of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Kuala Lumpur joined a performance as a part of International Youth Culture and Arts Festival 2018.
Endorsed by Malaysian Ministry of Education, the festival has been held since 2017 and serves as a cultural exchange platform for children from all over the world. Apart from Russian participates, vocal and dance groups from Indonesia, China, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore and other countries have also visited youth festival this year. The program lasted for 3 days and created a unique multicultural atmosphere of the event.
Children from RCSC ballet group performed “Matryoshki dolls”, prepared by the choreographer Natalia Urazova. The audience greeted young dancers with standing ovations and truly enjoyed colourful Russian dance.
At the end of the program, all performers were given certificates of participation and were invited to take part in the festival in 2019.
